A Korcula story

There are stories that are read, watched and those that are verbally conveyed. A story which is lived, in which one can stop, turn around and conclude how really one has found himself/herself amidst a unique and exciting medieval architectural fable and fantasy is a Korcula story.
By entering into the medieval architectural pearl, the Town of Korcula, by climbing a pearl like stair-case and by passing under the arcade of Land Gate Tower one comes on to a stage of stone lace and with a breath of past times. The golden fingers of time are noticeable everywhere: in various places fancifully drawn streets, rich ornaments inspiredly scattered upon the box full of urban poetics and on the faces-fasades of luxurious stone palaces. The wind that whispers among silent ancient walls, metaphysics upon which the birth town of Marco Polo is founded takes you outside the daily fatiguing race for insurance of life existence into the beneficence of a fable.

The fable, therefore, can be lived. All that is needed is to step within.
